Hello Dear Friends,

We have come back from traveling to a busy busy season in our family. As a result, I have really been very tired…well exhausted. 🙂

I was sooooo tired Monday morning and the same Tuesday morning. I had to wake up early both days. Tuesday I woke early to help my Sweet Husband and Dear Son get going for their day. While I was groggily awaking, I happened to check for messages/emails. I was pleasantly surprised!!

I opened an email that talked about a Sunshine Award. I thought someone’s blog I follow won a lovely award….how nice!! I was so happy for them. After I began to wake up a bit more and clear my sleepy eyes…oh my goodness…I saw I was blessed with this sweet and kind award from booklovers1!!!

I am soooo blessed and absolutely in shock!! I was sharing with my family last night about this lovely blessing!! I began this blog to share about my health journey and all the Lord has done in our/my life. I am amazed in all the Lord blesses us with. Over time I saw it as an opportunity to write or share things of the Lord. I LOVE certain preacher/teachers and have shared these wonderful Christian leaders’ devotionals via Yahoo Groups. But as times change…blogging became a lovely opportunity to share Christ and things I have loved or learned.

I have been blessed to serve lovely readers from all over the world!! I have loved sharing with my youngest two children what countries have visited the blog each week. Being a Geography minor in college…knowing I will probably not travel the world as much as I hoped for Christ…the Lord has allowed me to somewhat serve all the Dear Friends He has allowed me to meet via the blog/internet. What an amazing God we serve!! Who would have thought, sitting in my little farm house…in the lovely countryside…even I could serve the Jesus Christ with this literal stroke of a key!! What a great God we serve!!:)

OK…I had to ask Dear booklovers1 how I was to approach this opportunity. She shared what this interesting process is and how I am able now to bless those who have so encouraged me with their lovely blogs.

So first and foremost, thank you to the Lord for this opportunity to serve Him in this blog, My desire is for all who read this blog to hopefully see Christ and His great love and will for each of their lives. No matter what, always know…He loves each of you so.

Thank you to my Dear Friends and Family for all your love and support! It has been a rocky road with many difficult health issues…but no matter what, we have seen our Lord reign in all the hard times. All is His and it has been a blessing and a honor to have the opportunities to share Christ in hospitals, doctors offices, pharmacy lines, educational arenas and even at the grocery store. He prepares me well for this blog opportunity!! Though I am far from “fancy” or amazingly “well written”, I am excited to serve the Lord with this blog.

He is the Potter and I am the clay. I am happy to keep working to do better for the Lord and my Dear Friends who follow this simple blog. So in all things we praise the Lord…in the good and in the bad. 🙂

Again…it is all His and His alone. 🙂

My answers are as follow…

Favorite color? Pink…definitely pink, and the colors of the ocean. I especially love a lovely sunset with pink skies on and over the ocean. Favorite animal? I LOVE birds. 🙂 They are beautiful and simply graceful creatures. The Lord even knows the sparrows scripture tells us. Favorite number? I have always loved the number 10. When I was young and turned from the single digits to the double digits…I thought I had graduated into the big time!! Of course now, I am 29 every year!! 😉 I refuse to be old or limited…so as the example set by my dear sweet grandmother, I will always choose to live to my best ability and be determined to stay active and be young at heart. To serve the Lord well until He takes me home…is my greatest desire!! 🙂 So 29 is an attitude of the heart…as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. 🙂 Favorite nonalcoholic drink? A good Southern answer…tea!! 😉 I love iced green tea but no sugar!! I also LOVE hot tea in the Winter. And a nice cup of hot coffee with a splash of dark chocolate almond milk each morning. Favorite alcoholic drink? I do not drink alcoholic drinks. But I do enjoy a nice non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri…ok I think it is really a strawberry slush!! 😉 But it is decadent and fun!! I have probably had 2 in my life!! But each one was memorable!! 😉 Facebook or Twitter? I do not do either. We have a facebook but never use it. 🙂 As booklovers1, it has proven to be a time waster for me. We also knew we were being examples to our children and wanted to seek the Lord in what He would want us to be involved in. 🙂 I have felt led to focus on the blog and individual messages or letters. My Passions? I LOVE the Lord Jesus Christ!! I LOVE my Sweet Husband!! I LOVE our Dear Children!! And I LOVE serving the Lord by serving others. I LOVE also sharing with all I am allowed to meet the true Joy of my life and the Joy of my salvation. I am always amazed how almost all I meet love to chat on “things above”…even if they do not know Christ as Savior. If we genuinely love all we meet with the Love of Christ, even going to the grocery store can be our mission field the Lord has called us to in service!! What an honor and a blessing to serve our Lord!! Giving or Receiving Gifts? Like booklovers1, I do love receiving the blessings of others remembering me. 🙂 But I LOVE to give gifts!! I literally was sharing today, that all my Christmas shopping is already done. I love to find special gifts on sale, tuck them neatly away so that I can bless those I love with lovely specialty items chosen just for them. And when I find them on sale…I can usually find best quality for each one. What a blessing to see their sweet faces when receiving our remembrances for each one!! The Lord is sooo good!!
