Hello Dear Friends,

We arrived home last night. What a blessing to be home!! There is no place like home!!! 🙂

Not only was it good to see our child who stayed home…well, adult child, but there was a lovely surprise waiting for me!!

We were traveling and landed in AZ on Mother’s Day. It was a busy day and Mother’s Day was not really celebrated as our oldest child was at home taking care of the property and working. This child does not like the noise that Squeakems makes and Squeakems seems to not care for this child much either. He squawks like crazy every time they are together.

To my delight this child took good care of my little friend and had a tremendous gift!!

I had been chatting and expressing concern that he was outgrowing his cage. I knew the move up would be quite costly as my sweet husband and I had been pricing them out. Well, my incredibly resourceful child began searching Crag’s List and found a treasure.

There was a large floor model cage available from a sweet family in a very nice section of the city nearby. They were selling it for a great deal and it is in like new condition!! Amazing!! God is soooo good!!!

So today our other adult age child cleaned it all up for me…spotlessly and Squeakems moved in.

He was already strained from our vacation away….so I took my time. I moved his things one at a time and then moved him slowly. Once in this huge cage…easily 4 times larger cage…he called for me and then did a little self soothing growl he does. My oldest daughter said…Mom, he needs you. So I am hanging close and enjoying Squeakems…exploring his new home!!
