Good morning Dear Friends,

This morning it is a slow morning. My sweet hubby is working from home again. He was up late and therefore I am a bit groggy this morning on less than 5 hours sleep. His work is stressful and there is turmoil in his company. He has a major project coming to fruition in the next month. So they are gearing/resting up today. (I LOVE it when he can stay home and work from his comfy chair!! He deserves this!! And so cute too!!) He has been greatly concerned for his people who work for him and after yesterday it looks as if he needs to be aware for himself. With a one income homeschooling family, his job counts. Though we all know the Lord is in control, this change of events does bring cause to get us on our knees. And sometimes that is in the stillness of the late night. So if I sound a little different today…you know why. 

I have been reading some incredible women’s journals!! Have you ever wondered how did they get there and some of them so early in life?!?! I am amazed at how poised and thoughtful their writing is. I am amazed at the relevancy of such useful topics! And finally I am genuinely in awe of such phenominal layouts on their blogs. I literally turn on my laptop and do the quick click to get here. Then I go to the dashboard and use the simple version of posting!!    Honestly, I feel like a preschooler in the group of college profs!! 

I want to take this moment…this very sleepy morning and congratulate all you incredible bloggers!! Even this ole’ dog continues to learn from you wonderfully insightful young Moms!! Keep up the good work!! Keep the balance and know the Lord is using you to encourage others!! I met a new friend last night and I was so encouraged with the beauty of her blog!! She had lovely flowers/gardens and spoke of living in a place we have traveled. She was a sweet gal with very similar interests!! How much fun is that I ask you?! 

And then this morning I stumbled across this incredible blog that looked like it was written just for me!! Almost everything in it peaked my interest and honestly when I finished surfing the blog….I thought WOW, I could of written something like that…I should have written something like that!! But this incredible young woman so eloquently and thoughtfully wrote a very simplified blog of great information!! Way to go!!

After contemplating my groggy thoughts I realized, the Lord uses all of us for His purposes. The sweet gal in this morning’s blog reading is called to one part of what I enjoy reading about. Then last night’s sweet new friend’s blog encourages me to get out and piddle in my garden today!! I have beautiful tomatoes, peppers, herbs waiting to be harvested and eaten for dinner!! (Oh…the Lord provided, my sweet son just came in telling me all he picked on the back of the property this morning!! So now he’s going to my patio garden to gather all my goodies for me!! PTL!!! YUMMY lunch/dinner tonight!!  )

So the Lord’s timing and encouragements are never to discourage us in what we are not doing. His sweet and loving promptings come even in the form of blogs we read!! Isn’t God wonderful!! He wants to encourage us to come to Him and grow and learn. He desires this growth so that we may better serve Him in all of our lives!! So though in my tired sleepy lack of energy state this morning, I can see the forrest for the trees….eventually.   And though I may not mesmerize those who read this little blog….I give all to the glory of God and hope to encourage you Dear Sweet Friends to be all the Lord has called you to be and do. It is all for Him that we live…so why not our blog writings as well.
